Overview

Right off Highway 40, this resort offers well-equipped lodging with ski in/ski out access to Winter Park Ski Resort. The resort has an outdoor heated pool and 4 jacuzzis.

Popular activities in the winter at Iron Horse Resort include sleigh rides, snowshoeing and skiing. Cycling, hiking, and whitewater rafting opportunities are offered in the summer. Iron Horse Resort has a ski shop, a fitness center, and bicycle rental. It also offers a free shuttle to and from Winter Park Ski Resort.

The Bistro at Iron Horse is the resort’s on-site restaurant. It specializes in hearty mountain fare and has wonderful views of surrounding mountains.

Condos or Suites at Iron Horse Resort have cable TV and free Wi-Fi. They boast a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, and refrigerator.

The Iron Horse Resort is about an hour and 20 minutes from Denver. Interstate 70 is a half hour away.

Please note that check-in is located at 78884 US Highway 40, Winter Park, CO.

Full access to the fitness center, pool and hot tubs is now available. The locker rooms and steam room are still closed. The new completion date for renovations is proposed for March 1st.
